Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written to describe what this website and our software actually do.
Last updated: 11 August 20261. Two different kinds of data
It matters which of these we are talking about, because our role is different in each:
- Information about you — what you give us when you request a demo, submit a support ticket, comment on our blog or contact us. We decide how this is used, and this policy governs it.
- Your business data inside our software — your customers, products, invoices and staff records. This belongs to you. We hold and process it only to run the service on your behalf, and we never use it for our own purposes.
2. What we collect on this website
| When you… | We collect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Request a demo or sign up | Name, mobile, email, business name and type, address | To contact you, arrange the demo and prepare a quote |
| Use the contact form | Name, email, mobile, your message | To answer you |
| Comment on the blog | Name (required); address, email, mobile (optional); IP address | To publish the comment after moderation and to block spam |
| Use the chat assistant | Your question; name and mobile only if you choose to leave them | To answer, and to call you back if you asked us to |
| Apply for a job | Name, contact details, CV and the details you submit | To assess your application |
| Simply browse | Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps | Security, abuse prevention and understanding which pages are useful |
We never ask for your card or bank details on this website. Online payments are handled inside the product portals by a licensed payment gateway. Full card numbers never reach our servers and we do not store them.
3. What we collect inside the software
When you use one of our products we process the business records you enter, together with the account details of the users you create (name, mobile, user ID and role) and a log of significant actions such as logins and record changes. That log exists so that you can see who did what in your own system, and so that we can investigate a problem you report.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, and no advertising cookies:
- Session cookies keep you logged in while you use the software. Without these it cannot work.
- Preference storage remembers small choices in your browser, such as whether the chat greeting has already been shown.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to log in to the software if session cookies are blocked.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only:
- with service providers we depend on — our data-centre and hosting provider, our SMS gateway when you ask us to send SMS from the software, and the payment gateway that processes online payments — and only to the extent each needs to do its job;
- when the law requires it, for example a valid order from a court or a government authority of Bangladesh;
- with your consent, for anything else.
6. Where your data is stored, and how it is protected
Our software runs on cloud servers, with a daily automated backup. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised iSoft staff, connections to our services are encrypted in transit, and each customer's data is separated so that one customer can never see another's.
No system is completely immune to risk. If a security incident ever affects your data, we will tell you promptly and explain what happened and what we are doing about it.
7. How long we keep it
- Your business data: for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation we retain it for a short period so it can still be exported on request, then delete it.
- Demo and enquiry records: kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Accounting and invoice records: retained as long as Bangladeshi tax and company law requires.
- Blog comments: until you ask us to remove them.
8. Your choices
You may ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete information we no longer need to keep;
- export your business data in a standard digital format;
- stop sending you promotional messages — service and billing notices will continue, as they are part of the service.
Write to us using the details below. We respond within 7 working days, and we may need to verify your identity first so that nobody else can obtain your data.
9. Children
Our software is sold to businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
If this policy changes we publish the new version here with an updated date. Where a change materially affects you, we will notify you directly.
